A Halloween post that is not another costume photo

Every October the feed fills with the same costume photos and pumpkin filters. A Halloween zombie video stands out because it tells a story in a few seconds, and the people in it are real: you and someone you know. One of you survived the outbreak, the other has turned, and the survivor can't bring themselves to shoot.

It is spooky enough for the season and still sweet enough to post on your main account. There is no gore and no jump scare. The zombie has grey skin, milky white eyes and dark veins, but the face is clearly the person you love, and the clip ends on a warm memory of the two of you.

This site makes that clip from two ordinary photos. You don't write a prompt and you don't edit anything. You pick a setting, pay once, and about five minutes later you have a vertical video ready to post.

How to make a Halloween zombie video

The whole thing takes two photos and a few clicks:

  • Photo 1 is the survivor, the one holding the gun. Usually that is you.
  • Photo 2 is the one who turned: your partner, a friend, your mom or your dog. Tap swap if you want to switch roles.
  • Pick a setting or choose Surprise me.
  • Pay and wait about five minutes. You can switch to another tab; the page title changes and, if you allow it, your browser shows a notification when the video is ready.
  • Download the MP4 and post it. If you refresh the page, the video you made in this browser is still there, but the download link expires, so save it soon.

Four Halloween settings to choose from

Every video uses the same five-shot story, told in the setting you pick:

  • Halloween night: an empty suburban street with jack-o'-lanterns still glowing on the porches, fog and a full moon. The memory after the cut is the two of you on the same street on an earlier Halloween, in matching costumes.
  • Ruined city: an empty, dusty street in cold blue-grey light. The memory after the cut is a golden wheat field at sunset.
  • Snowed-in cabin: a mountain cabin lit by a dying fire, snow blowing through the broken door, an old hunting rifle instead of a handgun. The memory is a wooden dock over a sunny lake in summer.
  • Abandoned supermarket: empty shelves, vines and pale light through a broken skylight. The memory is the same supermarket, bright and fully stocked, back before it all ended.
  • Surprise me: leave the choice to us and one of the four is picked when you start.

The ending: one last hug

After the gun drops, the partner, still a zombie, runs and leaps into the survivor's arms. In the middle of the leap the video cuts hard to a memory: the same two people, healthy and smiling, the survivor catching and spinning the partner. The memory fills roughly the last 40% of the clip, which is what makes people watch it twice.

The score is piano and strings with no dialogue and no text on screen, so it works with the sound on or off, and you can add your own caption when you post.

Who to put in your Halloween zombie video

The classic version is a couple, but the story works with anyone you love. A zombie mom or dad is a funny family post, a best friend makes it an inside joke, and a dog or cat in photo 2 gives you the zombie pet version. For more ideas see the zombie girlfriend video and zombie pet video pages.

Only use photos of yourself or of people who agreed to be in the video, and make it clear the clip is AI-generated when you post it.

Price and your photos

One video is $6.99 and three are $14.99, taxes included, so the price you see is the price you pay. There is no account and no subscription: you add your photos, pay once, and the video starts right after. If a video fails to render, it is refunded automatically.

Your photos are used only to make your video and are deleted from our storage after 7 days. They are never used to train AI models. Each video is AI-generated fiction made with Seedance 2.0, the video model by ByteDance.

You get a clean MP4 with no watermark: about 12 seconds, vertical 9:16, 720p, with music. That fits TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts as it is.
