Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
The short version
We use your two photos only to make your video. They are deleted after 7 days and never used to train AI models. We do not sell personal data.
What we collect
- Your photos. The two photos you upload.
- Your videos. The videos generated from them, with the time they were created.
- A guest session. When you add a photo, we create an anonymous guest session in your browser (a cookie) so your credits and videos stay with you. It does not contain your name or email.
- Order details. When you pay, our payment provider Waffo Pancake shares the order number, amount, credits and the email you entered at checkout, so we can deliver your credits and help with support. We never receive your card details.
- Usage data. Standard server logs and analytics, described below.
How we use it
- To generate your video and show it to you for download.
- To add and track your credits, and to refund credits when a video fails.
- To answer support requests and handle refunds.
- To enforce our Acceptable Use Policy and keep the Service safe.
Who processes your data
We share data only with the services needed to run the Service:
| Service | What it does | Data it gets |
|---|---|---|
| kie.ai, using Seedance 2.0 by ByteDance | Generates the video | Your two photos |
| Cloudflare R2 | Stores uploaded photos | Your photos |
| Waffo Pancake | Payment, as Merchant of Record | Your checkout and payment details |
| Vercel | Hosts the website | Server logs |
| Our database host | Stores sessions, credits, orders and video records | Guest session, order details |
| Google Analytics | Measures site usage | Analytics data, described below |
How long we keep it
- Photos: deleted automatically 7 days after upload.
- Video links: provided by the generation service and may expire. Download your video soon after it is ready.
- Orders and credit records: kept as long as needed for accounting, tax and refunds.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) may automatically record standard request information such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It records page views, your approximate location (country or city), browser, operating system, and the site that referred you. Your photos and videos are never sent to it.
Google Analytics is provided by Google and processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy. You can see how Google uses data from sites that use its services, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are not given analytics cookies by default; only cookieless, anonymous measurements are sent.
Cookies
- A guest session cookie that keeps your credits and videos in your browser. The Service needs it to work.
- Google Analytics cookies (
_gaand_ga_*) that tell new visits from returning ones. They contain a random identifier, not your name or photos. You can block them; the site works the same.
We do not use cookies for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, including your photos and videos before the automatic deletion. Email support@thezombiecouple.com and include your order number or the time you made the video so we can find it. We reply within 30 days.
Children
The Service is for adults (18+). It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
