Terms of Service

1. Who we are and acceptance
Zombie Couple Video ("we", "us") is operated by an individual developer. These Terms govern your use of the website and the video generation service at thezombiecouple.com (the "Service").
By using the Service or buying credits, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have read and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy, and that you can enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service does
You upload two photos. The Service generates a short fictional AI video (about 12 seconds, 720p, 9:16, with music) in a fixed zombie love story script: one person is a survivor in a ruined city, the other has turned into a zombie, and the story ends in a memory of the two of them. You cannot write your own prompt; the script is the same for every video.
Videos are generated by Seedance 2.0, a video model made by ByteDance, which we access through the API provider kie.ai. The quality and availability of the Service depend on these providers. Every video is AI-generated and is not a record of real events.
The Service is a digital product. Generation starts as soon as your payment is confirmed.
3. Guest sessions
You do not need an account. When you add a photo, we create a guest session in your browser, and your credits and videos belong to that session. If you clear your browser data or switch browsers or devices, you may lose access to them. Contact us at support@thezombiecouple.com with your payment receipt and we will help you recover unused credits.
4. Pricing and credits
Credits are sold as one-time purchases. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.

One video costs 10 credits. Current prices are always shown on the pricing page and at checkout.
Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
5. Payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Waffo Pancake, the Merchant of Record for all orders. Waffo Pancake handles payment, billing, tax and customer service for payment issues. Each purchase is a one-time charge of the amount shown at checkout. Taxes, where they apply, are calculated and collected at checkout. We never see or store your card details.
6. Refunds
- A video fails to render: the 10 credits return to your balance automatically, usually within an hour.
- Unused credits within 7 days of purchase: you can ask for a full refund.
- Duplicate or wrong charge: full refund.
- Statutory rights: if you are in the EU, UK or Australia, your legal right to withdraw within 14 days is preserved until you use your first credit.
Credits that have been used for a finished video are not refundable. To request a refund, email support@thezombiecouple.com with the email you used at checkout and your order number. If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us before disputing it with your bank; we reply within 2 business days.
7. Your photos and your responsibilities
You may only upload photos of yourself, or of people (or pets) whose owners have given you permission. You confirm this before every generation. You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which lists what you may not upload or create, including sexual content, content involving minors, and content that impersonates or misleads people about real individuals, such as celebrities and public figures.
Do not present a video as real footage. When you share it, it must be clear that it is an AI-generated fictional video.
8. Ownership of videos
Subject to these Terms, the videos you generate are yours to use for any lawful purpose. You give us a limited licence to process your photos only to make your video. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI output can vary: faces, motion and details may not match your photos exactly, and a video may occasionally fail. We do not guarantee any particular result beyond the refund rules in Section 6.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Suspension and termination
We may refuse a generation, remove content, or block a guest session that breaches these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, as described in that policy. If we end your access for any reason other than a breach, we refund your unused credits.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator resides. Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us at support@thezombiecouple.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not affect purchases made before they take effect.
